Lander will be hosting the Heart of the West Invitational Art Show and The Cowboy Gear Exhibition. Friday, September 9 will be the Artists Reception and the Gala Opening will be Saturday, September 10. The show will be open to the public September 11-18. Local artists are also active in the event with art exhibits along Lander's Main Street. Stayed tuned for more details.

Sophy Brown was born in 1963 and grew up in England, coming to America in 1987 when she went to the University of Michigan to study for a MFA in painting. She had completed her BFA at Goldsmiths College of London University and was ready for a change of scene....
